Cooking Club: Group of novice chefs who enjoy learning and talking about food. Meets
bi-monthly at each others' homes to taste and share cooking ideas.
Family and Couples' Activities: Get-togethers have included post-holiday parties
for the whole family, concerts on Framingham Green, and cocktail parties at
member's homes.
Knitting Club: Members gather to share knitting experience.
Moms' Night Out: Members meet at local restaurants and other spots to socialize without the kids.
Network for Sequencing Women: Members meet to discuss finding a balance between parenting and paid work.
Online Loop: Our chapter has an online discussion group hosted by Yahoo. It serves as a
forum to ask questions, exchange information, seek support and establish contacts.
Playgroups: Playgroups offer members and their children the opportunity to meet other
parents and playmates. Playgroups generally meet weekly at members' homes.
Activities vary widely, depending on the group, the time of year, and the age of
the children.
Playground Drop-ins: In the summer, we meet at rotating playgrounds for some outdoor fun.
Seasoned Moms: Moms meet to discuss the issues of raising older children.
Special Needs Subgroup: Members meet to discuss issues surrounding raising special needs children.
UFO Night: (UnFinished Object Night) Once per month, we meet at a member's home to
spend time working on projects including scrapbooking.
Under One Club: Special playgroup for moms and their babies.
